Just wanted to balance the other "fly-off-the-handle" review a little with something more positive because the other single review paints a less than reliable picture (no pun intended!).

My father owns this same model and me being my families semi-official audio/video "expert", I've seen and set up many lcd & plasmas for myself and many others and I've spent a great deal of time reading up on all the technology and associated pros & cons of each. Bottom line: this LCD is a solid performer. Picture is quite satisfactory, no better or certainly no worse than the vast majority of LCD screens on the market and near this price point. And if you are able to tune in digital/HD quality stations and you have previously owned only CRT TVs, you are going to be VERY impressed! This is without any question the worst TV I have ever seen. Can't turn up volume high enough to hear in a normal room unless your within 12" of the unit and no one else in the room. Picture is hazy and simply horrible. I gave it as a gift and it was opened after the 30 days and Amazon / Tiger Direct refused to take it back. Why would they, who would want it. Can;t believe I trusted the Westinghouse name. As fast as you can, buy anything else.

I can't believe I took a chance and bought this piece of junk. I should have listened to the reviewer who gave it one star. This thing shouldn't be on the market. It is garbage.
