Customer Rating: Summary: you're going to need the extended warranty 2008-08-13 Comment: I bought this model about 15 months ago and loved it for the first 12 months. Then the picture started blacking out intermittenly. After spending money to determine the cause I was told by the Toshiba repair person that the panel was defective. Cost to repair $1025. My one year warrenty doesn't cover the problem. I will NEVER buy another Toshiba TV.
