Summary: Fantastic Buy! 2007-10-28
Comment: I bought a similar LCD TV at Circuit City (different make) that was totally disfunctional right out of the box. I retuned it the same day, and went online to rsearch for a decent, small screen LCD for my BR. Reviews of this Sylvania were excellent with only one out of many giving it a mediocre reveiw, one that didn't make much sense anyway. So I ordered it, and it is FANTASTIC!! Great color and sound, and it can be viewed from any angle with no distortion. Remote buttons are a little small, but so what. Highly recommend this product.

Summary: Bargain LCD---TV 2007-10-27
Comment: Sylvania is'nt a brand I would usually consider, however an under $200 price and good reviews on Amazon made it enticing.It is now sitting in the corner of my kitchen hanging from a Peerless articulating swivel mount and I'm completely satisfied.It looks great and the quality and clarity of the picture is surprising for the price. I do'nt know how long it will last but it was definitely worth the shot!

Summary: MUTE Stays on Screen until Pressed Again 2007-10-22
Comment: We are very pleased with this TV, resolution, color, etc. The only negative is that when you press the MUTE button it stays on the screen. We are worried that it will be permanently burnt into the screen eventually. So, instead we turn the volume down, not a terrible thing for the price paid.

Comment: This TV is nice and compact but the picture quality is not necessarily what I expected. Unless seated at least 5 feet away the picture quality lacks definition and contrast. The coloring is good, as well as the sound. The other reviews are accurate that when you change channels it pauses for a noticeable moment before switching. If you are a channel flipper it can be very annoying. My TV guide and I have become much closer now so I can avoid the annoyance. Despite this, this television is a very good buy for the dollar but if you are looking for spectacular picture quality miniturized then this TV will not quite meet your expectations.

Comment: This TV is great, and the price was good too. It arrived in new packaging and the sound and picture seem good, although I've only powered it up to see the menu! We bought it for use in a new children's business and we don't have our DVD player set up yet. The viewing angle is good too! It's light and stable on the base.
