HD 720p Resolution Panel: Enjoy crisp, detailed and vibrant images in 720p picture quality while watching movies, sports and primetime HD television broadcasts via the 16:9 wide screen panel (1366 x 768).
5 HD Inputs: Get versatile HD connection options with 5 HD inputs, including 2 HDMI inputs to connect a Blu-ray Disc player, PlayStation3 gaming console or any other HDMI-capable equipment. Two HD component inputs provide added HD-capable connectivity, while a PC input (HD-15 pin) lets you use your HDTV as a computer monitor.
BRAVIA Engine 2: Enjoy sharp, vibrant, life-like images while optimizing color and contrast and significantly reducing noise with the BRAVIA Engine 2 fully digital processor.
24p True Cinema: Movies consist of 24 images per second, and cannot be faithfully reproduced on conventional televisions, resulting in unnatural, jerky movements. But 24p True Cinema displays the 24 progressive images as they should be, in the same sequence as the original film source. Now, you can recreate the visual clarity of cinema-quality movies in the comfort of your own home.
BRAVIA Sync Compatible: Conveniently operate and control other BRAVIA Sync compatible devices--including BRAVIA HDTVs, Blu-ray Disc Players, surround sound systems, Handycam camcorders and Cyber-shot digital still cameras, all with one remote control.
VESA-compatible hole spacing uses an industry-standard mounting-hole pattern that can be used with VESA-compliant mounting brackets, taking the guesswork out of selecting the proper hardware for hanging your TV on the wall.

![]() | With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience. If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get.

Sadly it does. I tested with a few pre-recorded scenes known to illustrate the problem on the KDL-26L5000.
The odd ghosting problem is not the typical motion blur noticeable on fast moving objects. This ghosting manifests as a streaking or shadow movement. Most often it seems to affect facial features such as lips and around the eyes which seem to float off people's faces as they move from side to side. The effect is dependent on the scene being viewed - lighting, motion etc - typically occurring in dark scenes or scenes with areas of highly contrasting light and dark areas. Happily the KDL-32EX400 does not suffer from this problem. If you consider yourself a critical TV viewer, consider spending a little more to avoid this sort of annoying problem. For casual viewing this is probably not an issue. 16 of 18 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Sony BRAVIA BX 300 Series 32-Inch LCD TV, Black (Electronics) This was a Tv that I was really hoping would be great, but sadly I was mistaken. Pros: Good cable TV quality, Sound isn't too bad, the design is really sleek and nice looking, still picture quality is good. BIG CON: Basically you can't watch anything too dark on HD programs or ghost trails will manifest behind moving objects. I had my 360 hooked up and character's heads would look like shooting stars when they would move across the in game environment. Like other reviewers have stated, actor's facial features appear to be floating on their faces. I was EXTEREMLY irritated by this. I have since returned the TV and have ordered a Panasonic L32X2, so hopefully that will answer to my TV needs! :D 19 of 22 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Sony BRAVIA BX 300 Series 32-Inch LCD TV, Black (Electronics) I have only had this TV for a week, but I have to say that I love it! The contrast is excellent, the sound is decent, and the price was right at $400. I purchased this model for a very small game room. The sharpness of the picture was my top priority because we are sitting so close to it. I am very happy with clarity that the BX300 provides. |
