Exceptional Image Quality with Any Input
LED Lights for Superior Contrast
Revolutionary LED lights generate brilliant light for the bright scenes and dim light for the dark scenes, giving you extreme contrasts and vibrant images with minimal power consumption.
Audio Technology Delivers Surround Sound Experience
Equipped with SRS TruSurround HD, the HDTV immerses you in a rich sound experience, giving surround sound quality with deep bass, high frequency detail, and crisp, clear vocals. For additional audio options, a Dolby Digital output is handy for connecting to your home theater system.
Connection Options for All Your Viewing Needs
You can quickly and easily connect to a cable or satellite box, camcorder, game console, Blu-ray disc player, DVD player, PC, and more with the HDTV's multiple inputs. Two HDMI inputs with Philips' EasyLink let you control connected devices with the same remote control as the TV.
Energy Efficient Features Reduce Power Consumption
The HDTV's power-saving features include Philips' dimming technology, which uses a built-in light sensor to automatically adjust the TV backlight for optimal picture quality and power efficiency according to the light in the room. The HDTV is also Energy Star compliant, meaning you'll conserve energy with its high-efficiency materials.

The sound quality on the TV was terrible. See review by Alec Bentley and others. My husband complanied to Philips. They said they have fixed the sound issues plus sent us a new TV. Replacement TV sound is much better. I think as good as any of the very slim TV's. We were impressed that Philips responded to our complaint. Be aware the plastic surrounding the TV is black not dark green as it appears in all of Philips illustrations. 27 of 28 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Philips 32PFL4505D/F7 32-Inch 1080p LED LCD HDTV, Black (Electronics) Has every input/out you'll need. AMAZING video. Great profile and looks. The onboard speakers are very weak in every category. Highly recommend this tv IF you plan on using an external stereo system with it (as I do) 22 of 24 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Philips 32PFL4505D/F7 32-Inch 1080p LED LCD HDTV, Black (Electronics) I'm not a techno geek. Just wanted a reasonably priced TV for our bedroom. This one seemed to have all the amenities for a much lower price than most in it's category (such as the Samsung). I read the feedback that the sound wasn't great but thought it couldn't be that bad. Well it is. It sounds like a transistor radio. The speaker faces the back and you cannot adjust for more full sound depth. It sounds like its coming from a tin can. The picture was just okay too. I thought I could add some speakers for around $50 and then be happy with it but the speakers I ordered arrived and they could not be hooked up without an amplifier so I had to return them. All I wanted is decent sound, not asking for super duper theater quality. So it went back today after I received my new Panasonic TV. What a difference. It cost much less and sound is great with a great picture too. |
