Summary: Panasonic LCD Picture is Great 2008-07-10
Comment: This TV was purchased as a second TV for a home gym room which gets lots of light. I looked at Consumers Reports & they ranked this model very high for the ability to see from different angles. The picture quality is excellent. It was extremely easy to install. I like the ability to be able to move the TV from side to side on the stand. The high definition is excellent and even better than our Panasonic Plasma that was purchased 4 years ago. Got a great price from Amazon of $799.88 & free shipping. Best Buy wanted over $1,000 for the same TV. This is a great TV if you need something smaller than a 42 inch.

Summary: Panansonic Does Not Support its Product 2008-04-04
Comment: We have a Panasonic LCD TV (different model). It has a beautiful picture, that is, when it is working. The lamp burns out every 13 months or so. We have had 3 lamps go out and have had to replace each one at $300 per lamp. An obvious defect with the design, however Panasonic refuses to provide the replacement part. Turns out to be an expensive TV when you have to pay $300 a year just to keep it running!

Summary: Great 32" LCD TV 2008-03-10
Comment: I am your average LCD TV owner that does not require all the bells and whistles. Of course, you want to buy the best so here is your average guys review. I spent a long time looking at LCDs, comparing all the specs, etc. etc. At the end of the day, an LCD is an LCD if you are not so particular about everything. Its great for its price!! Of all the LCDs, this is by far the best (price to quality ratio) at this point of time (Feb 2008). Lots of my friends comment on my TV and are always shocked when i tell them the price of the LCD. Trust me, if you are a first time buyer, you cant go wrong with this TV unless you want an RGB port.
Missing:
RGB Port?
Sound:
Some say its bad because they treat the speakers like a sound system. Well, its 4 x 20 W (10% THD). If you expect to crank it up and produce great surround sound, then you have some screws loose. :) Its enough if you are not a sound buff. Buy a sound system if you want great sound.
SD Card Slot:
I love this! I can turn my TV into a photo album when having guests around. Easy to use.

Summary: TV is fantastic. Missing screws not as fantastic. 2008-03-09
Comment: I bought this product after reading what CNET, Consumer Reports, and other Amazon buyers had to say about it. Like three other Amazon reviewers, my TV vibrates during low sounds - the entire back of the case vibrates (I should note that I use the main speakers and not an external surround sound system). Unfortunately for me I bought the 2nd to last TV from my vendor so swapping it isn't an option. I discovered last night that there are four empty screw holes in the back which - if pressed firmly to the TV - would eliminate the awful vibrations from the loose plastic casing on the back. Now I'm looking for the right screw size.
Overall, the TV looks great, you can see the screen well from the top, bottom, and sides with clarity, and the user interface is easy to understand. Hopefully it will sound great soon.

Summary: A Great Choice To Buy 2008-02-29
Comment: I've had mine for about 3 weeks now. Bought it thru Amazon (6ave)with no tax and free shipping for $844.00. Shipping arrived about 3 days earlier than expected, with good C.Svc. from 6ave.
I researched this for at least 6 weeks, waiting for the price to drop, etc. Finally popped for it. This is a great set, great sound, picture, etc. It seems to be everything the other reviewers laud, and everything Consumer Reports claims. You needn't check for other TV's, just shop this one for price.
The '700' model has better sound, faster refresh and enhanced movie thang that the '70' doesn't. If you can find the '700' for around $100 more than the '70', go for it.
I think if you make the choice to buy this one, you will be satisfied with your decision...no mistakes here.
I'm Old School: TV's should cost about $80 new! Spending this much on a TV almost sends me into shock...but if any TV is worth $800, this one would be it. CR reports that this model has great picture, sound, reliability and customer satisfaction. I agree.
32" also is a great apartment size, doesn't overwhelm the room, but still is large enough to really enjoy.
