What size TV should you get?
What's in the Box Mitsubishi Unisen HDTV, remote control (with batteries), removable stand, owner's manual
With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience.
If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get.
Minimum size = Viewing distance/3
Maximum size=Viewing distance/1.5

This tv has one of the most amazing pictures I've ever seen - and being in the business I've seen alot, so much so I've decided to keep it in spite of the annoying glitch of rebooting it everytime I put a dvd in it!The input seems to crash every time I start my sony blu ray or regular dvd player.

So two of the same TV's now and both have the same problem. The brightness "adjusts" during particularly dark scenes and makes them... wait for it... worse. Most obviously during the credits of a movie when depending on how much text is on the screen the white letters vary in brightness.
Two repair guys have been out and the first admitted to the issue. Second guy said "theres nothing wrong. I have to get going now"
Sound is great. Watching sports is great. Video games and movies make me want to shove my fist through the set.
Anyone have any issues with this?

This is one nice tv! It's our first led tv and the quality is just phenominal. The 5.1 surround sound bar also sounds great; I probably wont need a speaker set for it anymore. Overall, we love it.
