It sounds like Vanessa didn't know how to properly setup this TV because it is the absolutely best tv that I have ever seen. The picture and sound quality (I have mine hooked up to the free subwoofer that The Big Screen Store provided) are perfect. But, I must admit that The Big Screen Store installed mine for free so I did not have to do setup myself (as a woman it was more helpful to me to have them do it).

When properly installed and setup (and connected to your local HD cabling company service), you will experience clean, clear, crisp and vivid picture quality that will blow you away. Also, with the built-in 16 speaker sound system, you will experience superb, rich sound quality. Now add a subwoofer (doesn't have to be expensive), and you'll have movie-theater sound quality in a snap.

I have been looking to get a tv for a while now I finally decided to get this one. It was delivered yesterday I set it up and and turned it on. I had sound for about 60 seconds then no sound. I went through all the fixes provided in the manuel. All I could get it to do was get sound for a 60 seconds unless I tried to change the volume on the remote then it would go away instantly. The picture is wonderful hence to 2 star rating. I just don't think that I should have problems so soon after opening the box. I called Mitsubishi and schedueled a tech to come see it in four days. Not happy. Going to try to send it back.

I had to replace my 46" Sony XBR4 and searched for a month for the replacement. I loved the style, and picture on the Mitsubishi. I wanted to go to a 52 and this was it. I was not sold on the sound bar but the salesman showed me how a good sub could make a huge differance. I will say I loved that TV! The sound bar sounds amazing. Now for the But....... of the story. I had only seen the TV on at the store. When I got it home I set it up. It was late at night. The next morning I get up and turn on the TV only to see that the window in the living room is glaring on the screen like a mirror. I had not seen the tv off in the show room or I would have noticed the shiny screen. So I had to return it. That was the only reason. I still wish it would have worked. At $1850.00 I had a deal!
