Save space in your entertainment center and enjoy vivid, colorful video with the 20-inch Magnavox 20MF605T flat panel LCD TV that can display both EDTV and HDTV. It has a built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner and it's capable of displaying high definition TV signals with an optional receiver. This EDTV (Enhanced Definition TV) set is capable of displaying not only television signals in 480p (480-pixel progressive) but also from video sources such as progressive-scan DVD players--which offers a far better resolution and picture than playing a DVD through an interlaced video screen. You can also use it as a PC monitor.

The 2D digital comb filter and 3D motion-adaptive deinterlacing enhance picture sharpness for a crisp, natural look. It has a resolution of 640 by 480 pixels, 500-1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, 4:3 aspect ratio, 16 ms (millisecond) response time, and 140-degree horizontal viewing angle. Summary: Great TV For the price 2007-12-05
Comment: Purchased this LCD TV For around $400.00 and it is great for viewing tv and Gaming. Although its far from the best as its only EDTV It still is a great choice if you want a cheap LCD TV. I have had it over 1 year with no problems. If your looking for an HDTV Though you will need to look elsewhere and pay more.

Summary: Awesome present 2007-05-18
Comment: I received this television as a Christmas present last year and have not had a single problem. The picture is crystal clear and all functions work perfectly each and every time I turn it on. The color is a bit bright (however this could be due to my settings) and if you turn the television off with the remote to turn it back on you must also use the remote. (This is a problem for someone who constantly misplaces the remote, such as myself.) Besides those two small problems this product is great and works with ease.

Summary: Nice TV but expensive to repair 2007-02-28
Comment: We bought a refurbished model with a 3 month warranty. We kept the TV in a room where it got very little use but we were happy with how it looked and its usability. After 4 months, the volume got stuck on VERY LOUD. Magnavox tech support talked me through but nothing worked. I took it to the service center they recommended. For $85 they soldered some loose connections, gave me a 1-month warranty. I brought it home yesterday and it appears to work now. I will not buy another Magnavox TV or another refurbished product.

Comment: well i don't know about anyone else, but iv'e never had a second of trouble with mine. works great every time all the time. computer games look awesome, can switch between tv and computer easily or watch tv in the picture in picture while writing a review on the computer like i am now. totally recommend it. can watch movies on dvd player with the tv speakers or watch them on the computer and use the computer speakers. my computer speaker setup is better so i use that. all around versital and well worth it.
