It is black and glossy so yes you can see handprints but that is easily fixed! I have had this for a couple months now and it works like a charm. No dead pixels or anything. Overall sound is pretty good for a small television, more than what I was expecting at least. I bought VGA cable and 3.5mm audio cable so I could hook the laptop up to it and watch movies and it works perfectly!! Also got a cheap HDMI cable for the PS3 and it works as well with the television. Everything looks better in HD and 1080p. The remote kind of stinks since it is a little on the slow side but it will do.
