Update your kitchen, bedroom, or home office with the 20-inch Coby TF-TV2007 multi-tasking LCD TV, which includes a VGA input that enables you to use the set as a PC monitor. It has a built-in 181-channel NTSC tuner (as well as a PAL tuner for broadcasts outside North America), and you can view high-definition programming when connected to an optional receiver or cable/satellite set-top box via the component video inputs. It comes with a sleekly styled base that can be removed for wall mounting with optional hard ware.

This set features a 640 x 480-pixel resolution, 4:3 standard aspect ratio, 450 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and 500:1 contrast ratio. (The higher the contrast ratio, the greater a TV's ability to display subtle color details and not get washed out by ambient room light.) It has two stereo speakers integrated into the sides of the cabinet that produce 3 watts of power per channel (for 6 watts of total power). It includes the following connection inputs:

Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This results in increased bandwidth for color information, resulting in a more accurate picture with clearer color reproduction and less bleeding than you would get with S-Video or composite (RCA yellow video plug) connections. You will need a separate RCA left/right audio cable for sound.

Summary: Cable Tuner did not work. 2007-06-07
Comment: When I got this, the cable tuner did not work. Coby just said to send it back. But instead I just got a digital cable box and the Video inputs work fine. Nice picture and good speakers, but didn't work with its internal tuner.

Also, Comcast remotes will not work with this TV.
