Summary: Akia TVs are the worst quality... It will stop working on you 2008-07-20
Comment: I had my akia less than 2 years and then it simply stopped turning on. The power on-off component would not respond...Also the built-in DVD player stopped working after 4 months... I have written to the Akai company but have received no response...

Summary: Watch out when you buy this product. 2008-03-10
Comment: I bought the TV Model LCT32Z4ADP in Jul-07 from 6th Avenue as a second tv for our guest bedroom. At first I was very happy with the performance. But recently it has developed a problem. Various colured patches appear randomply on the TV after it is on for, say, 10 minutes. I have called the AKAI support and they are still trying to help. But I understood it is a best effort only and not guarenteed to resolve the issue. Apparantly this seem to be a problem with many LCD TVs. I will revise this as soon as I get the unit fixed.But, Please do your research before going in for a new unit.
