It features up to a up to 1280 x 768-pixel resolution and you can select from the following display formats: 1080i (HDTV), 720p (HDTV), 480p (EDTV). The LCT2660 has a built-in 181-chanel NTSC tuner, but you'll need a separate HDTV tuner to receive high-definition broadcasts. It comes with its own built-in pedestal stand and measures just 10 inches deep.

The LCT2660 features a widescreen picture aspect ratio (16:9; standard TVs have a 4:3 aspect ratio), which is the ideal screen format for viewing widescreen video from DVD players and the growing availability of broadcast programming off digital HDTV tuners (HD content is always widescreen), cable boxes and satellite receivers.

This set has a fast 16 miilisecond response time, which is suitable for fast-motion electronic-game display. It also features a 500:1 contrast ratio with a 500 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating. The 3D digital comb filter helps reduce video noise by comparing each horizontal scanning line with the lines above and below and with the corresponding line on the previous subsequent video frames. The 3:2 pulldown cinema video processing feature detects and compensates film--which is shot at 24 frames per second (fps) compared with video's 30 fps rate--to video for a smooth theater-like experience at home.

The LCT2660 has two built-in 10-watt speakers (for 20 watts of total power) and can provide virtual surround sound through these speakers. It offers the following video and audio connections:
